Cone milling is a gentle, low energy size reduction mill ideal for fatty, heat sensitive, sticky, moist or fragile products. It alleviates traditional milling problems of noise, dust and heat generation as ideal for use in food and pharmaceutical applications.

A number of different grinding media and drive arrangements are available. This enables us to satisfy individual process, operational, cleaning and installation requirements.

Kek fine grinding Universal mills are designed and constructed for high performance, robustness, easy maintenance and safety in use.

Contruction can be of cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel and, where required, can be designed to withstand over pressure situations of up to 10 Bar.

A range of models are available to suit a variety of process and throughput requirements from a few kgs to several tons per hour. Typical requirements are to grind materials of up to 3 Moh hardness to within the ranges of 30 - 500 micron mean particle size.

Kemutec's new range of air classifier mills offers finer grinding capability than standard Universal fine grinding mills plus greater control over particle size distribution typically grinding to an average particle size of 20m. Designed with the needs of the Food & Pharmaceutical industries in mind these machines complement Kemutec's existing range of impact size reduction mills and are backed by their long experience in providing size reduction solutions.

The Air Classifier Mill is essentially an impact mill with a regulated airflow that is circulated within the mill. Once milled, the fine material is carried out with the air while coarse particles are not allowed to leave mill if above a certain, pre-determined cut size.
